Trip to Utah

At the end of April our neighborhood was put into a brand new ward and I was called to be the Primary President.  It took us a few weeks to be ready for the full three-hours and the first full Sunday happened to be Mother's Day and the weekend of Bill's niece's wedding.  I stayed home while Bill drove down to Bountiful for the wedding.  They stayed at the Marriott in SLC and the boys had a ball.

Bill took Sam fishing several times at a pond near our home.  Sam finally caught this little guy and was thrilled.

Summer's coming!

As it started to warm up, we found a lot of fun things to do outside.  Daniel really got the hang of riding his balance bike and wanted to wear his helmet everywhere...including the grocery store.

One Saturday we took a drive out to Marsing to a little island park.  The boys cruised around on the bike & scooter and threw rocks in the river.

Until our neighborhood pool opened up, this had to do.

Soccer

Sam played soccer this spring and his team was the Bears.  It was cold in the mornings, but it didn't bother him.  He did great!

Daniel was his biggest fan!

School Pictures

Besides his mother forgetting it was picture day and not combing his hair, we thought these turned out pretty cute...

Surprise!

I had my 20 week ultrasound on April 4th , but instead of finding out then if we were having a boy or a girl, we decided to have the tech write it down and seal it in an envelope.  We took it to a bakery and had them make cupcakes with a pink or blue colored filling and last night, with some of our family and friends, we bit into the cupcakes and got this exciting news...

Easter Weekend

This is the first year that I dared try dyeing Easter eggs with Sam & Daniel.  It proved to be a hit and it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be.

They loved it

The Easter Bunny comes to our house the Saturday morning of Easter weekend.  He left lots of candy-filled eggs in our backyard and Sam & Daniel worked speedily to collect them.

That afternoon we all went to Wahooz to play miniature golf (also a first).  It was hilarious to watch and so much fun.

Sunday after church in our Easter duds.  We finally got Sam to wear his tie underneath his collar (before he'd wear it like a necklace), but he still won't put it under his vest.  Baby steps, I guess.
