A look back...

Well, the holidays flew by as usual, so I'm left to do a quick recap. These are a few pictures of our visit to Temple Square.

We rang in the new year up at the Whitaker cabin near Franklin, ID. Bill and I went up Sunday evening with the Gardiners. We went snowmobiling and sledding and just relaxed all day Monday. Then Monday evening Nate arrived with two lovely young ladies. We spent the evening playing Wii and other games until midnight, at which point I turn into a pumpkin, so I promptly went to bed! The first day of 2008 began with a yummy breakfast and more relaxing, sledding and snowmobiling and then finally, packing up to head home. I hate that part.
When we got back to Salt Lake, we met Becky and her family at a movie theatre to see The Waterhorse. It was back to work for me on Wednesday, but I won't turn down a 3-day work week! They visited until Saturday morning. Bill and I had Rachel, Jonah, Luke and Seth sleep over on Friday night. It was a full evening of games and a movie and Seth dancing constantly. That kid can really move! The boys loved running up and down the stairs up to our loft. I wish I got that much enjoyment out of them!
I went skiing at the Canyons with Lissy last Saturday. It was a gorgeous day and snow was great. Now we're well into the new year. I'm of course looking forward to MLK, Jr. Day coming up next Monday!
