Since Bill had been working a lot and was going camping for two days with our wards Young Men, I decided to drive down to Salt Lake with the boys to visit my parents. We left Tuesday morning and arrived that afternoon, just in time for the Pioneer Day celebrations.
First we played with our Ellison cousins in the back yard and had a BBQ.
We met my newest nephew, Henry Adams Ellison (here he is just 6 days old).
My brother, Dan, master BBQer
Yum!
After dinner, we walked over to my old elementary school grounds where the city of Cottonwood Heights puts on a huge carnival. We waited in line after line for a 4 second inflatable slide ride.
Having a great time!
Waiting 20 minutes for the shark was totally worth it!
The rest of the week was full of lots of fun activities...
Wheeler Farm
Riding the Heber Creeper
Hogle Zoo
Cornhole with Grandma Ellison
We got together with some friends to play at a splash pad and dinner.
Nine children under the age of four
(Drew C, Braeden, Kaden, Macey, Drew G, Sam, Daniel, Ella & Jonah)
Aubrey, Sarah, Michelle, Nettie, Shan, Kim & Me
Playing with Grandpa Ellison once last time before heading home.

It's sad that it takes an out of towner for us all to get together. I'm so glad you came to town. It was so fun seeing you and everyone else.
I miss UT! It looks glorious there in the summer. Two of our favorite haunts in the SLC area were the zoo and Wheeler Farms. It looks like you guys had such a great time with your family!
