Weekend in Sun Valley

Our annual trip to Sun Valley was as fun as ever.  We arrived Thursday (6th) evening and went for a late night swim before hopping into bed.  We got my favorite room that has a big closet that fits the pack 'n play perfectly.  Then we set up a comfy little bed on the floor for Sam and we were all set.

Bill had meetings all day, so the boys and I went swimming again in the morning and then met my friend Steph for lunch.

Then we fed the ducks before heading up to our room for naps.

That afternoon, Steph, the boys and I went for a long walk around the village.  We stopped at the lake and went "fishing" and tried floating our little boats in the streams.  Our poor submarine got stuck in a pipe and will forever be a Sun Valley resident.

After all the meetings, Bill and David joined us for a yummy dinner at Mama Inez in Ketchum.  We then, of course, had to take a stroll around the corner to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a little treat.

One more dip in the pool Saturday morning before packing up to head home.  Daniel finally figured out how to keep himself upright with his water wings on.  He was very independent!

Time to go...

I LOVE that traditional family shot. (Cute shoes missy). Looks like you had a blast. And I am painfully jealous of the crab enchilada at Mama Inez. I can't believe it's back.
