Unbelievable Baby Shower

My amazing friends threw me the most beautiful baby shower yesterday.  I could not believe all of the darling decorations they came up with for the princess theme.  I am still in awe!  It was a beautiful morning and so much fun to see everyone, especially from our old ward!  I felt truly loved.

All of the pink, purple, frills & bows are completely foreign to me, but it was so fun open all their gifts.  This little girl has been s-p-o-i-l-e-d!

Eagle Island

Sam has been asking to go to Eagle Island all summer, but I haven't gotten up the nerve.  My friend Kassie asked if we wanted to go with her and her girls, Kenzie & Aubree, and that seemed more doable, so we headed there this week.  It's been a HOT summer, so any chance the boys get to play in water, they love it.

The fun they had was worth the mess of sand we had when we got home!

The Ellisons in Jackson

June 13-16 was our Ellison Family Reunion in Jackson Hole, WY.  We left a day early so we could stop in Rexburg and see Bill's sister, Melinda and her family.  Sam & Daniel loved playing with their cousins and Bill and I got to go to the Rexburg temple the next morning.  It was great!

On our way to Jackson, we stopped in Driggs, ID to see one of my favorite old roommates, Stephanie.  It was so fun to catch up with her after all of these years.

We rented these little cabins in Jackson and spent lots of time outside. One day we all drove up to Yellowstone for the day.

Swimming Lessons

We signed Sam up for a week of private swimming lessons at the beginning of the summer.  He loved it and did great.

One weekend, my cousin Katie drove through town with her family from Seattle.  We met them and Ann's family at a park for a picnic and let the kids play.  It had been years since I had seen Katie and was so fun to catch up!

Bill's Birthday

Bill's birthday fell on a Saturday and we all spent the whole day together.

 First was mini golf at Wahooz

 Then a drive up near Horse Shoe Bend for some fishing.  They didn't catch anything because the boys spent more time throwing rocks in the river, scaring the fish away.

Then a birthday cake on Sunday.
