Poor Sam has been sick two weekends in a row. This last time included throwing up, no appetite, a cough and runny nose. We wondered if we'd be able to take our trip to Utah we'd been planning. Thankfully, by Wednesday Sam seemed to be on the mend so we hit the road that afternoon and arrived in SLC late that evening. He slept most of the way and it was great!
We joined in my dad's weekly Saturday breakfast at McDonalds with my brother, Dan and his kids, Noah and Sloane. Sam just loves them.
After a healthy breakfast, we went to see their new house and their sweet new little baby.
Asher Thomas Ellison was born January 4, 2010. He is a clone of his older brother, Noah.Each night, we got to visit with friends that we haven't seen in a while. It was great!

Saturday night was a yummy fondue party/baby shower. Delicious!

Glad Sam is on the mend...it's so sad when kids are sick - you feel so helpless. The trip to Utah sounds fun. I love to watch kids with their cousins. ( :
